Project overview

Due to security and capacity issues and a business requirement, DLR required to deploy additional CCTV cameras across the DLR estate. These cameras connect onto a legacy data network which was at full node capacity and is also end of life.

A decision was made at DLR to design a new high-speed data network to be resilient, reliable and scalable to enable the services running over four other legacy data networks to be migrated onto the new data network, those being revenue systems, people counting, SCADA, analogue voice, electronic service update boards, and passenger alarm panels.

Our role

Integra specialists were engaged to develop the sponsors and engineering requirements plus technical specification and to provide project engineering oversight throughout the design development, manufacture, installation and testing/commissioning.
