Project overview
Integra were appointed to provide Project Interface Support, on behalf of Mace, in a £6m fit out of an Aviation Experience Lounge at the Emirates Cable Car. The Aviation experience works were commissioned by Emirates Airline. Emirates Airline being the primary sponsor of both the Aviation Experience and the London Cable Car crossing the River Thames.
The Aviation Experience sits within the DLR Emirates Cable Car facility and the work has been carried out whilst the cable car remains open to the travelling public. The fit out comprised of a cafeteria, merchandising offer, four flight simulators, an A380 aircraft nose cone, audio visual displays, and interactive screens.
Our role
Integra's remit was to protect the operation of the facility, to provide reporting back to the management team, to prove oversight and guidance to the project team and sub teams in their delivery of this project. Integra served as a conduit to facilitate approvals, reviews and control.
