Project overview
As part of a major development at Waterloo being undertaken by the developer Canary Wharf Group, the scope of work includes the design and construction of a new station ticket hall for London Underground Ltd. The new assets to be provided include premises, civils, mechanical, electrical, communications, fire and escalators. The scope involves the demolition of the existing and construction of a new ticket hall with a bank of three new escalators in the existing shaft.
Our role
The new Ticket Hall will be constructed to replace the existing ticket hall which is being demolished to make way for the Southbank Place development which includes commercial, retail and residential development on the site of the Shell Centre. For the London Underground ticket hall works, Integra are providing overall management of assurance and undertaking the systems engineering on the project including human factors, requirements management, RAMS and EMC.
